That’s why we designed the five-part Masterclass AI for Professionals. Together, the courses take you from the basics to practical application and critical reflection. Then we move into a deep dive on how AI systems actually work, followed by generative AI, where you’ll see how today’s most popular tools can be used in practice. Finally, we close with the ethics of AI, understanding the risks, responsibilities, and impacts that come with this powerful technology.
This second part takes you into the engine room of AI. From the input data to learning approaches and model architectures, you’ll uncover the key elements that define how AI is built and how it behaves.

Every AI system starts with input: the text, images, sounds, or numbers it needs to learn from. We’ll discuss these input types and then compare the different ways AI learns—through labels, patterns, feedback, or self-correction. Each paradigm has its strengths, and we’ll show how they apply to real-world use cases.

To make the learning experience more engaging, we don’t just present theory—we introduce thought-provoking questions and give space for reflection. Each module includes Q&A blocks, helping you actively connect the content to your own work.

Model types
